Through my work, I question identity and memory from a sensitive and poetic viewpoint. My sculptures and graphic works are expressed though the body and its traces. Working toward understanding, I address universal emotions, speaking of disappearance, forgetting, and the fragility of life.
My works are both tactile and visual experiences. They appeal to the senses and sensory memories, revealing traces of both the visible and the invisible. Expressed using glass, fabric, and different types of paper, they balance transparence with opacity. Intimate expressions, my pieces are born of the dialogue with the materials, delicate and fragile. They are the reflections of my intuitions. Accurate timing and gests are primordial for my straightforward search to weave stories.
