Les langages silencieux

Think of the history of embroidery, more specifically the hands that embroider. In a series of “breaths,” light and material combine to give form to emotions and experiences hiding behind the creation of these pieces.
This chapter took shape during my stay in Finland. There I discovered a photography book from the beginning of the 20th century, showcasing daily life. The language of photography yielded an interpretation going beyond words. Even if frozen in time, the images of bodies expressed actions from the past.
